Another hit by this fantastic author! Olivia Pence and Dezz Casey both grew up in a small town in Iowa. Olivia is a word nerd with not many friends. Dezz Casey was also a nerd, you’d think they’d become friends, but all through school Dezz made fun of Olivia, always in competition with her. Olivia left for New York City to work for a magazine called Brillance, Dezz followed her. She didn’t know what to make of that. Dezz is looking a lot different from their school days when he was a skinny geek, he now was six foot of man candy. He’s such a pain in her butt, they’re always trying to up one another at work. The constant rivalry between them was getting to the boss and killing the atmosphere around the office. Their boss was sick of it and sent them on a two week journey to write about serendipitous things. Will their time away from each other ease their rivalry or flare up something else? The humor is off the wall in this book. Will the romance this author is known for creep into the story? These two characters are so much alike, they throw stones at each other constantly! Great read!
