Sometimes the only way to truly start over is to move. That’s exactly what Elaina Samuels and her unruly band of cohorts decided to do. Elaina, Tawny, Grace, and Steph bought a bed and breakfast in Maine. The trip from Cherry Ridge, Ohio to Portland is a wild and crazy ride, filled with things they never could have foreseen. In this adventure, there\’92s laughter, tears, doubt, and a little danger thrown in to keep them on their toes. Will this relocation to the northeast be the key to real happiness? Or will it test their friendship to the breaking point?
I’m so glad the author continued this series! It makes me feel good reading about these ladies. Elaina, Tawny, Grace and Steph met in a pawn shop, all them doing the same thing, getting rid of their wedding rings. This author writes a humorous, adventurous, loving friendship story that’ll have you loving these ladies. They go through ups and downs of relationships and everyday life with help from each other and sangria. The things these ladies get their selves into, and how the manage the situation at times will have you laughing. The chapter titles are hilarious, they make you want to read the next chapter. Download this series, this is the second book, and laugh and bite your nails waiting to see what’s happening next. Their strong characters with everyday situations, but they have each other. I’d love a trio of friends like these.
I only have a photo for the cover, I’m not a writer: This is my review:
Imagine a book when you look at a picture and your imagination runs wild with stories about what you see. That’s this series! Awesome photography, poems and stories written by several superior authors! I’ve read every book in this series, each one had new authors to get to know. There’s weird stories that make your mind think. Sci-fi that’ll show a glimpse into the authors mind, down right chilling stories, don’t forget the amazing poetry by two amazing poets, the photography that inspired these stories. You really should try one of these books, their worth the money and totally worth your time. This is one of my favorite books in this series. I think it makes a good Halloween read.
Unfortunately I’ve come to the end of this awesome series, this is the third and last time I’ll be with Michael, Nicki and Sean, other characters I’ll miss Isaac and his mom Ruby. What a way to end a series! I don’t know if you read any of this series, it highly detailed, from it’s torture scenes to it’s investigating work, this author can write! The research is evident in every way, from torture, to killing, to breaking and entering, everything is so detailed. We have two men and one woman with the same mindset, get rid of rapist, child abusers. We have more of Sean in this one, I love that, he’s a likable hired hit man, yea I said hit man and likable ( read the series, you’ll find out). He’s hired to kill Maria, he’s done what he’s never done, got involved with a hit. Maria is beautiful, Sean thinks something is way off about this job. He decides to investigate and asks Michael for help, for Sean to ask for help was big. What they find is very disturbing, a Internet site that you can get any fantasy you want, killing, sexual, any fetish your into. It’s run by someone called “The SandMan” He wants Maria dead! Sean, Michael and Nicki go deep and things get real. I cringed, got sad, happy, actually had tears from reading this series. I applaud the author for “HER” imagination and plain awesomeness in knowing what the reader wants. I’ve read other books by this author, I totally recommend you try her.
Whenever I want a little faith in men and human kindness, I read one of Jan Romes books. I just read the fourth installment in The Texas Boys Falling Series, “Not Without Nancy”. I’ve read everyone of them. These men are the sweetest, handsome, rich and nicest men in Texas. Each one has family and friends that’ll be there no matter the circumstances. Each story unique in it’s own way. This is Trigg and Nancy’s story, I think one of my favorite, Nancy just rocks! Trigg is the rancher of the boys, I love him because he is so down to earth, literally. Nancy is a RN, Trigg has had eyes for Nancy since the moment he’d met her through Maggie. He’s let her know it to, she’s turned him down every time. Nancy is basically married to her job, most nurses are overworked and understaffed. Their friends think their meant for each other, the press shows Trigg in a different way. Nancy doesn’t need heart ache in her life, she’s had enough of that. Can Trigg and Nancy’s friends help these two, or is there still one more Texas boy on the market? I’ve looked forward to every one of these stories. The characters are people that I enjoy spending time with. Download your copy and meet some new friends.
