I’ve read all this author’s books, loved everyone of them.
THIS IS THE BEST BOOK I’VE READ IN A WHILE!!
This book came alive in my hands, it has everything that draws me in. Definitely this author’s best work yet!!! Characters I won’t soon forget, they became so real to me.
This author has a way with words no matter what he writes. This book shows his love of his country side of England, with all its rich history, historic churches, green grass hillsides and rocky seasides. His description bringing alive to me a place I’ll never see with my own eyes through Colin & Kate and Jusuf. The fifteenth-century Cornwall and twenteith-century North West meet through Colin and Jusuf. You won’t believe how they are joined as one unless you read this book. Kate, Colin’s girlfriend is helping Colin figure out what’s going on in his head. When the mystery piece is revealed, I’m blown away!!! I never expected this! I had a great time reading their story, you will to, I promise!!!
My favorite line: “There are always sacrifices to be made for the furtherance of science.”
Talk about a page turner!

A journey of the unknown: Beyond Ever Blue Skies by Clive Johnson

Mr.Johnson imagination never ceases to amaze me with the worlds he creates and writes about. This book has it all, dystopia, intrigue, romance, sci-fi and mystery. Mr.Johnson does all his own artwork for his books, one of many hats this author wears ( the cover is one of his pieces)You have to have strong protagonists, this author gets into your heart and mind, they’re creative characters with different outlooks on life. His worlds are very descriptive, easy to visualize. Get ready for a trip to ” The Promised Land”. Not your regular sci-fi story. Take the journey into ever blue skies. Morgan and Stephanie won’t disappoint!

HorrorStruck Novella One: The Conversationalist by Justin Bog #Review

I found this quote for this book: “Everything you can imagine is real”.

This new revamp of this book is very evident. The author totally rocked the cover, it says so much on its own. The stories I’ve read in the first edition were good, but you can tell the author revisited his story and tweaked them. The characters get inside your head because it’s not hard to imagine their story. My feelings were all over the place with Patrick’s story, so many people can relate with him on trust issues.
The last story is new to me, “The Night” The author scared the daylight out of me with this one! A child’s imagination makes for a great read, or is it Anna’s imagination? A big house with creaky floorboards, a child crying wolf all the time. Now Anna’s faced with a decision to run to her father and tell him of her suspicion or let her family be stabbed to death. It’s a very well written book that you’ll enjoy reading because everyone has something in common with the characters.

Synopsis:

It’s 1976, and hippie student Colin and his new girlfriend, Kate, begin their life together during that heatwave summer. But something—or someone—intrudes into Colin’s mind and won’t go away. It leads them to unwind an extraordinary tale, taking them back to events some 500 years ago, to Jusuf, Rodrigo and Gwenna.

Who are they, though, and what is their link with Colin and Kate? And what’s the sinister mystery at the heart of their story that threatens the very existence of Colin and Kate’s own world?

A fresh and original time-slip novel of romance, revenge, religion, and redemption, where twentieth-century England’s North West and fifteenth-century Cornwall are unforgettably evoked with colour, richness and wit. If you like beautifully engrossing tales of mystery and intrigue, you will love
The Forebear’s Candle.

Created by master storyteller Clive S. Johnson, author of Solem (Fantasy) and Beyond Ever Blue Skies (Science Fiction), and the six volumes of the Realm of Dica Series (Fantasy).

“Only I Can Hear”by Regina Puckett

imageThe cover spoke to me! This book of poetry touched me in many ways. Regina touches on many subjects with her poetry, from reminding people to stop and smell the roses, to having faith in yourself and the world around you. Believe me she know the world today! Poems on missing those we love, what the heart wants, our soldiers and more. She always makes me think about the words she writes and how it resonates with life, people, places and me. I found this book more serious than others, maybe that’s the way I read her words. How would this book make you feel?

This author shows her diverse writing skills in this book. Some stories I’ve read before, the ones I haven’t, I was glad I picked up this book. I’ve read this author’s horror tales, she just keeps getting better. Her Characters are strong minded individuals that rule the story. Her romantic stories are so surreal, you can ride the wave with the characters. You can tell Regina is a seasoned author, her stories are detailed and riveting. Download one of her books and you’ll have a new author to read, I promise. If your a poetry lover you’ll love her work.

Road Trip!!! “Merlot In Maine” (sweatpant and wine club series, third book) by Jan Romes

img_8221
I followed the four ladies, Elaine, Tawny, Grace, Steph, let’s not forget Stony the husky and Lula the cat, their a big part of the story. The ladies have been there for each other ever since they met at the pawn shop. They make me wish I had met ladies like them in my life. Life isn’t always easy, but with friends like these four you would always have a heart and shoulder to cry on. They have their moments they want to tear their hair out because of each other, believe me. Elaine has a saying ” not my monkeys, not my circus”. If you read the series you’d see. True friends always work it out. This is the third book, on this journey they open a Bed&Breakfast in the snowy state of Maine, mind you none of them have experience in the Bed&breakfast area. They were all ready for a change in life, to leave Cherry Ridge behind, or are they? Elaine sold her gym to Arden (her ex husband) and the house, the ladies left their jobs, the journey begins. These ladies don’t disappoint, their adventure on the had me laughing my butt off most of the time, feeling bad other times. I live in UpState NY, Maine is one of our favorite vacation spots so this book had me right away. I really enjoy the friendship between these sassy, friendly, adventurous, all around wonderful ladies. Wait until you read what they call the Bed&Breakfast!!! Totally fits them. The people they meet, some had me in stitches, others are the men they meet. Join the journey with these wonderful, sassy, fun ladies! Can they make it all work out, or will they fall apart? Hmmmmmm.
