Playing with the devil: The Wizard & The Wonton by Charity Parkerson

I love this series because the characters rock! If you had to go up against a sexy devil, would you? Dheath is a very sexy devil who can send shiver down your spine, sexually and fearfully. He shows up on Randall’s apothecary shop doorstep, he wants his help taking a power from Rowena ( she’s a fate) who Randall has feelings for. Randall says he hasn’t seen her in awhile, Dhearth says she right across the road in that coffee shop. She’s there with Lena and Harper, Randall’s ferocious with Dheath for even saying her name. He hasn’t seen Rowena in a long time, he goes to the coffee shop and Rowena was happy to see him until she notices Dheath. Randall grabs her and walks away with her in tow. Harper can’t keep her eyes off Dheath. When they return Harper and Dheath are gone. They knew they would need more help, they went to see my favorite fairy Tam. Can Tam, Rowena and Randall get Harper back? You’ll want to find out, believe me.

Fights & Whiskey: Devil- A Charles Splint Case By D.E.E.L

This is the second Splints case I’ve read, both in a row. The first one was such a kickass story I had to find out more about Charles Splint. This bookis longer than the other, just as action packed as the first. A green eyed beauty walks into his office and asked him to get rid of the most notorious devil in town. He knows he’s in for the fight of his life, but who’s he to turn down a beautiful lady. Grab your copy, find out if Charles can take the devil out of commission. Both books well worth your time, he’s kick butt and a funny wise guy.

Home- A Charles Solver Splint Case by D.E.E.L

I was in the mood for a fun read, this fit he bill perfectly. Charles knows their after him, his client gave him away, he went to the warehouse to see this monster the client wanted taken out. Things go wrong, his client is shot, he goes to a bar and just waits knowing their coming. He meets Ms. Right and all heck breaks loose when they walk through the door. Short read, lots of action.

Faith: Balloon Wishes by Regina Puckett

What a sweet read. The Lord works in mysterious ways. The balloon wishes are something everyone should experience. Sometimes the pain is more apparent from casualties of the war than the family, faith helps family if they believe. This author writes a tender, sweet story about a little family with lots of faith, Jacob is the one surprised. Read this sweet book and find out why. I’ve read many books by this author, different genres, from poetry to horror to sweet reads like this. Very talented lady.

A child’s story: No ones Daughter by Jasmine Bath

I was given this book as a gift, no review was required. I can’t help but write a review after what I read. This author deserves at least that for getting this story out of her head. I have read stories like this, I can’t believe there wasn’t a soul to help this child. I hope in this world today there would be someone who would help this child. I wish kids would see that this isn’t normal, look for help. Mothers like this don’t deserve children. It’s a well written story, brings out every emotion except happiness. Thank you for sharing your story. I won’t forget this story.

Playboy or soulmate: Married To Maggie by Jan Romes

Playboy or soulmate: Married To Maggie By Jan Romes

I can’t say enough about this book. At first glance your thinking you know how the story goes, well you don’t. The Vincent’s are oil tycoons, there’s TY Vincent the first(grandfather) TY Vincent the second, was killed in a limo accident, TY Vincent the third, playboy extraordinaire. Maggie Gray an innocent nurse gets caught up in a proposal from both Vincent’s. Maggie’s father Richland was in on it to. I fell in love with the characters, I felt I knew them and was involved with every conversation they had, like I was right there. Only a great author can make you feel that way. Is there more to Tysen the third other than being a playboy? Maggie will find out, her father said he owed Tysen the first, Maggie figured from gambling, so she takes Tysen up on his proposal. Tysen wants Maggie to marry his grandson to stop his playboy ways and step up to run the company after he retires. Maggie agrees because she has lost her job and wants to help her dad. Tysen the third was at a airport trying to get away from the paparazzi when he got chest pains and Maggie was there to help him( she knew where he was going to be because of Tysen the first telling her). Tysen had no idea about the agreement with Maggie and his grandfather. Tysen doesn’t want help and tells Maggie to leave him alone, the nurse in her wouldn’t let that happen, as she’s getting him up Tysen sees Chaz, ( the paparazzi)Maggie realizes what’s happening and protects Tysen from Chaz. Tysen decides he would also propose a deal with Maggie to marry him so his grandfather and the board of trustees would get off his back. He thought she had backbone and would go along with his proposal, after all he’s Tysen Vincent the third, very sexy, smooth and gets what he want with women. He doesn’t know Maggie. This is definitely one of my favorite reads now. I’ve found a new favorite author to, I’ve read one of Jan’s other books and enjoyed that to. Very well written stories. I will miss these characters!
