I found this quote for this book: “Everything you can imagine is real”.
This new revamp of this book is very evident. The author totally rocked the cover, it says so much on its own. The stories I’ve read in the first edition were good, but you can tell the author revisited his story and tweaked them. The characters get inside your head because it’s not hard to imagine their story. My feelings were all over the place with Patrick’s story, so many people can relate with him on trust issues.
The last story is new to me, “The Night” The author scared the daylight out of me with this one! A child’s imagination makes for a great read, or is it Anna’s imagination? A big house with creaky floorboards, a child crying wolf all the time. Now Anna’s faced with a decision to run to her father and tell him of her suspicion or let her family be stabbed to death. It’s a very well written book that you’ll enjoy reading because everyone has something in common with the characters.
This author shows her diverse writing skills in this book. Some stories I’ve read before, the ones I haven’t, I was glad I picked up this book. I’ve read this author’s horror tales, she just keeps getting better. Her Characters are strong minded individuals that rule the story. Her romantic stories are so surreal, you can ride the wave with the characters. You can tell Regina is a seasoned author, her stories are detailed and riveting. Download one of her books and you’ll have a new author to read, I promise. If your a poetry lover you’ll love her work.
Can people change: A Time To Tell by Maria Savva
So many families can resonate with this book. Can people change? Can families mend? The circa from 1950’s Cara’s teen years ( the main character) to now her golden years. We read how events within a family shapes others futures within the family. Domestic abuse is a horrible thing for families to go through. My heart was broken many times reading this. Cara has lived through a broken heart since her teen years. The secrets she kept, the secrets her sister Gloria kept shaped their families for generations. Download and find out what the characters teach us. Full of realistic characters, a page turner for sure.
I’m glad Clive didn’t change his way of writing with this new book, still using old tongue language. Clive’s style of writing draws me in, I haven’t read another author like him. I’m glad I got the paperback to read poolside as it added to the spookiness of the book, I’m surrounded by woods. Janeen had to leave her village because she had a demon in her, she stayed longer than most children with a demon in them by bewitching the villagers. She didn’t know this, but her father and a friend did. There came a day when her dad knew it was time for her to leave, she was seventeen then. I wonder if the parents know what happens to the children they send away? Luckily she has Sharman, Craith and Dwelgefa. They realize this isn’t a normal case, so the journey begins through the countryside, up rivers and through dense forest. I can visualize the countryside because the description the author writes is so clear I got the goose bumps running up my arms and legs at times. This book is full of mystery, adventure, demons and a little romance. The characters I came to look forward to being with each time I opened the book will be missed. I took the journey, felt the fear, adrenaline and faith with the characters and their creator. You should to! Clive never disappoints, I’ve read his Dica series which blew me away also. This author is one of the best story tellers of the written word. He makes maps to help you visualize the countryside he’s writing about and his drawing blow my mind. Don’t miss out, take the journey!
You don’t get to choose who you fall in love with, it just happens. Arianna has been through way to much in her life. She lost the two most important men in her life, her father and her true love, Ben. Tristan has been there from day one, Bens brother and uncle to her son Ben Jr. I don’t know if you remember from the first book that Tristan has strong feelings foe Adrianna. His brother Ben was astute to Tristan’s feelings for his fiancé, he also knew he would never act on them. Arianna finds she also has feeling for Tristan, she thinks it’s because she’s come to rely on him so much because of Ben. They both went through a lot together when Ben told them he was dying and after his death. Are Arianna’s feelings true or is she just feeling dependent on Tristan. When Tristan tries to go on with his life, Arianna makes a horrifying discovery about Tristan. Read this awesome story to find out if their able to be just friends.
